Dear APSKT alumni,

        We will be celebrating the 55^th anniversary of our school in 2010 and a writing competition entitled “The Past and Present” will duly be held for our students.

        We are writing to ask if you would write a short passage recapturing your time at APSKT to be posted on our website.

        You may put your emphasis on the differences between the school at your time and the school today. Take for example, assembly was held in the church in those days whereas now we have it in the school hall. PE lessons were held on the roof top, but now in the gymnasium. Students learnt to play the recorders only in Music, but now we have a school orchestra. School lunch was very different in the past too. Lunch was either prepared in school or brought by student. Some students even left the school for lunch whereas now lunch boxes are delivered to our school.

        Could you recall any special activities in school? What was the Sports day like? How did APSKT celebrate Christmas? How about the Primary Six Camp?

        We love to hear from you soon and it would definitely help our current students relate to what school life used to be at APSKT. Thanking you in advance!
